Jennifer Lopez Ripped Off Her Tuxedo on ‘SNL’ to Reveal Her Iconic Versace Dress

Some celebs never repeat an outfit. But, like Tiffany Haddish and her white Alexander McQueen dress, Jennifer Lopez just can’t stop wearing that Versace dress.

We first saw the 50-year-old “Let’s Get Loud” singer rock the now-iconic plunging palm-print chiffon getup at the 2000 Grammys. As you may recall, people went crazy for it. The bellybutton grazing neckline! The leg action! The whole damn thing! Well, J.Lo just brought back her look for the fourth time.

While hosting Saturday Night Live this past weekend on December 7, Lopez humbly looked back at her biggest moments of 2019 (there were a lot). In addition to getting engaged to Alex Rodriguez, having her biggest movie opening ever with Hustlers, getting a lap dance from Cardi B and going on a sold-out tour, she says she “walked the runway in Milan for the first time wearing a dress I wore 20 years ago.” She added, “Some people said I look better now than I did then! I’m not bragging. That’s just, you know, gossip.”

To really drive her point home, J.Lo finished her opening monologue with a rendition of “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” during which she was accompanied by the famed Radio City Rockettes. At the end of the number, she stripped of her tuxedo to reveal the dress. FYI: Between the Grammys, her 2001 SNL hosting gig, Milan Fashion Week and this SNL go around, this is her fourth time wearing the frock.

Don’t be fooled by the rocks that she’s got, Jennifer Lopez still looks smoldering in that green chiffon dress. Slay, J.Lo. Slay.
