Jennifer Lopez Went Swimming in Velour Sweatpants

Most people avoid jumping into pools in anything other than a swimsuit. Most people also don't have a pool to jump into in the first place, fully clothed or not. Jennifer Lopez, though, of course has multiple pools and when it rained this week she decided to take a dip while wearing a full outfit.

Rodriguez captioned the photo "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain (or jump in the pool)." Deep. 2020 is basically one big storm right now and Jennifer Lopez is of course showing us how to dance our way through it in a ribbed tank top and velour sweatpants. It was also sweet of Rodriguez to note in parentheses that not all of us have pools of course, but that doesn't mean we still can't dance like Lopez. Well, none of us can dance like Lopez...but anyway, it's a metaphor.

So while we wait for the stay inside orders to lift and for there to be some solution to end this pandemic, we can all keep Rodriguez's sage advice and Lopez's nostalgic look in mind. The storm isn't ending anytime soon, so we might as well dance at home, pool or not, no matter what we're wearing.
