Jennifer Love Hewitt Buys $6 Million Pacific Palisades Home

Jennifer Love Hewitt is the proud owner of a brand-new $6 million home in L.A.’s Pacific Palisades neighborhood that is the definition of pristine. The Cape Cod–style residence spans approximately 6,300 square feet and includes six bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms spread out across two floors, Variety reports. With traditional architectural finishes, including polished European oak floorboards and thick crown moldings, the home is stately both inside and out, with sturdy pillars delineating different living spaces on the ground floor, including a living room with a marble fireplace and an adjacent formal dining area with a coffered ceiling.

The farmhouse-style kitchen, which is connected to the dining room by a butler’s pantry, features white subway tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances, and a large marble-topped breakfast bar. There’s a more informal dining area just off the kitchen, connected to a large family room with a second fireplace and large glass sliders that open out onto the backyard.

Also on the ground floor is an en suite home office that can easily be converted into a downstairs bedroom, as well as a carpeted home theater with wet bar and candy counter. Upstairs, the master suite features its own corner fireplace, as well as an entire wall of glass sliders that open onto a spacious private terrace. Other features of the master suite include a marble bathroom featuring a chic free-standing deep-soaking tub and separate steam shower, and a number of walk-in closets. A morning bar is an additional perk, and is ideal for lazy weekend days. A unique rooftop terrace provides unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains, as well as ample room for a lounging, sitting, and dining area. The backyard is built for entertaining and relaxing, with a built-in barbecue grill, a dining terrace, and a swimming pool and spa situated on the other side of the home. Hewitt currently still owns another contemporary residence in Pacific Palisades, which she bought for $3.25 million in 2013, and previously owned several homes in the Toluca Lake area, which she has largely sold off.
