Jenny Mollen Shares Easter Photo with Son Sid After Revealing He Recently Fractured His Skull
Sid is one dapper little dude!
Jenny Mollen‘s 5-year-old son was quite the picture of pastel perfection on Easter Sunday, when the actress and author posted a snapshot of herself and her older child outfitted in their holiday best.
While Mollen wore a multicolored dress featuring a cut-out midsection and bow at the bust, Sid donned a light-blue striped suit over a pink, white and blue shirt, finishing the sweet look with a dark bow tie.
“I hope his fraternity brothers like me,” Mollen, 39, captioned the image, in which Sid’s face was covered with an emoji. (She and husband Jason Biggs do not share Sid or his 18-month-old brother Lazlo‘s faces on social media.)
The mother-son photograph came four days after Mollen revealed in a heartbreaking Instagram post that she had accidentally dropped Sid on his head the previous weekend, causing him to fracture his skull and resulting in an emergency trip to the hospital.

Mollen recalled her family’s “traumatic” situation on Instagram Wednesday night, explaining that her older son had been in the intensive care unit earlier that week but was now home “taking things slowly and recovering nicely.”
“I am forever grateful to Lenox Hill downtown and @nyphospital for their immediate response and aid,” she captioned a photograph that showed herself flashing a somber smile while holding Sid.
“Thank you to all of the nurses, neurologists, pediatricians, residents, cafeteria staff and brave women that keep the visitor’s bathroom clean. Not sure how this post turned into an Oscars acceptance speech … But @biggsjason Thank god for you! Thank god, thank god, thank god,” she continued.
“It has been a traumatic week,” admitted the
author.

Hours after her Instagram post, celebrities like Krysten Ritter, Angela Kinsey, Rachel Bilson and Claire Holt left numerous supportive comments for the mom of two.
“Oh my god Jenny that is so scary and I’m so sorry you guys are going through this. Fast recovery for Sid! Sending love ❤️❤️❤️,” wrote Ritter, 37, who is currently pregnant with her first child.
“@jennymollen sending you and your family my love,” chimed in mother of one Kinsey, 47. “I am so glad Sid is okay!! That must have been so scary. As parents we try our best but things can go south in a split second. Thank you for sharing. ❤️”
Erika Christensen, who is mom to two daughters, praised Mollen’s “good work” for “getting life back on track” since the harrowing incident, adding, “Jesus, it makes me cry. ]]>🙌🏼
