Jerome physician elected president of Michigan Academy of Family Physicians

The Michigan Academy of Family Physicians has elected Glenn V. Dregansky, DO, FAAFP, a board-certified family physician, as its 74th president during its recent annual meeting.

Dr. Dregansky, of Jerome, has practiced family medicine for nearly 40 years. His experience includes military medicine, academic medicine, private and employed practice. He also served as medical director of a managed care plan and a head injury and spinal cord rehabilitation program. He most recently taught full time at the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine’s family medicine residency program in Battle Creek, where he shared his vast experience to help the next generation of family physicians develop their art of practice.
