The Denver Broncos lost one of their biggest weapons just minutes into their Week 10 game against the Tennessee Titans. Wide receiver Jerry Jeudy injured his ankle on his first route of the game, and was carted to the locker room.

The injury took place while Jeudy was running a deep route. As he went to make a cut down the field, Jeudy fell to the ground. Trainers tended to Jeudy on the field. He eventually took a cart to the locker room. Jeudy was initially ruled questionable to return, but was quickly downgraded to out.

The injury comes at a tough time for Jeudy. Over that past few weeks, Jeudy emerged as Russell Wilson's most reliable target in the passing game. Jeudy has 16 catches for 216 yards and a score in his last three games. He was targeted 25 times over that stretch. Over that same period, Courtland Sutton has just six catches for 50 yards on 16 targets.

Jeudy was on pace for his most productive season in the NFL prior to the injury. Through eight games, Jeudy has 30 receptions for 449 yards and three touchdowns.

With Jeudy sidelined, Sutton will need to step up for the Broncos. He came through one time Sunday, pulling in a fantastic catch while going to the ground.

It's unclear whether Jeudy will miss additional time due to the injury.
