Jerry Seinfeld is coming back to Rochester.

The comedian will perform two stand-up sets — at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. — Friday, June 2, at the Auditorium Theatre, 885 E. Main St.

Tickets start at $55, and pre-sales begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, at Ticketmaster.com.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, March 24, at Ticketmaster.com and the Auditorium box office.

Seinfeld last played the Auditorium in 2019. Initially he booked one show, but tickets sold out so quickly that he added a second, which also sold out.

Three years prior, he played he played two sold-out shows at the venue and startled the staff at Antonetta’s restaurant (which has since closed) by dropping in beforehand for chicken Parmesan.

Seinfeld made his first appearance on “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson” in 1981. Eight years later he teamed with fellow comedian Larry David to create the groundbreaking, Emmy-winning sitcom “Seinfeld,” which ran for nine seasons on NBC.

His latest projects include “Jerry Before Seinfeld” and “23 Hours to Kill” on Netflix, and web series, “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.”
