For the first time, comedians Jerry Seinfeld and Jim Gaffigan are slated to go on tour together this fall. The short arena tour in November includes only four stops, with a show at Chicago’s United Center on Nov. 3.

“Jim and I met doing ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’ and have been talking about doing this for years,” Seinfeld said in an announcement Friday from JS Touring. “We finally made the schedules work out.”

“I’m so excited to help out this unknown up and upcoming comedian who many may have never heard of,” Gaffigan said.

Seinfeld’s eponymous TV show won numerous Emmy, Golden Globe and People’s Choice awards during the course of its nine-season run on NBC. He’ll next star in the upcoming comedy movie “Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story,” which he directed, cowrote and produced.

Gaffigan is a seven-time Grammy-nominated comedian, actor, writer, producer, two-time New York Times bestselling author, three-time Emmy-winning performer, and multi-platinum-selling recording artist. He also co-stars in “Unfrosted” and will release his 10th comedy special this year.

Other stops on the tour include San Francisco, Los Angeles and St. Louis, Missouri. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. July 16 at ticketmaster.com.
