Jersey Cash 5 $209,430 jackpot won in Passaic County
A lottery player in Passaic County won the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot of $209,430 on Friday.
One ticket sold at the Athenia Food Mart on Van Houten Avenue in Clifton matched the five numbers in the Jersey Cash 5 drawing on Friday, according to the New Jersey Lottery.
The winning numbers drawn on Sept. 1 were: 3, 5, 7, 26 and 30. The Xtra number was 2.
For selling the ticket, the Athenia Food Mart will get a $2,000 bonus check.

"Congratulations to our very fortunate Jersey Cash 5 winner! We hope this incredible prize brings joy and happiness to the winner; we’re already looking forward to awarding another jackpot prize,” said New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey.
Jersey Cash 5 is a daily lottery draw game from the New Jersey Lottery. Players pick five numbers between one and 45 and can add the Xtra for a chance to increase non-jackpot prizes by up to five times. Drawings are held seven days a week at 10:57 p.m.
