Jersey Cash 5 jackpot hit twice over weekend. See where the tickets were sold

It was a busy weekend for the Jersey Cash 5 as the jackpot was hit on back-to-back nights, the New Jersey Lottery announced.

On Saturday, a ticket purchased at the Park Deli and Grill on Woodbridge Avenue in Edison won a massive $1,167,215 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot. Saturday's winning numbers were: 21, 26, 36, 41 and 45 and XTRA 03. The retailer receives a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the ticket.

"Congratulations to our very fortunate Jersey Cash 5 winner! We hope this incredible prize brings joy and happiness to the winner,” said New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey.

On Sunday, two tickets hit the $100,000 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot. One was sold at the ShopRite on Greenwood Avenue in Wyckoff and the other via the online app Jackpocket, which is based in the state in Hewitt. Each ticket is worth $50,000 and the retailers each get a $2,000 bonus. Sunday's winning numbers were: 02, 16, 27, 31 and 44 and XTRA 02.

The jackpot resets to $100,000 for Monday night's drawing.

Jersey Cash 5 is a daily lottery draw game from the New Jersey Lottery. Players pick five numbers between one and 45 and can add the Xtra for a chance to increase non-jackpot prizes by up to five times. Drawings are held seven days a week at 10:57 p.m.

Jackpocket is a third-party lottery app that allows people to play official state lotteries via their phone. States where Jackpocket can be used are: Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Washington, DC and West Virginia.
