Don't look for the New Jersey Devils in the Prudential Center in Newark on Thursday, July 7. Or the Pine Barrens, for that matter.

They'll be at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park for the Devils Draft Party.

Current Devils member Dougie Hamilton and team greats Ken Daneyko, Bryce Salvador, Grant Marshall, Bruce Driver and Jim Dowd, a home-grown Devil from Brick, will be at the Pony to celebrate the 2022 NHL Draft and the team’s No. 2 overall selection.

Brian Kirk and the Jirks and the Devils' “TJ the DJ” will provide entertainment. There will be indoor and outdoor entertainment, food, interactive activations, the BMW Mobile Tour, street hockey and giant Jenga. There will also be posters and T-shirts on sale to benefit the night's two charities, the Devils Youth Foundation and Asbury Park Music Foundation.

The night, 6 to 10 p.m., is centered around the Devils selection of the No. 2 pick, which is scheduled to take place around 7:30 p.m. Tickets, $10, are available via Ticketmaster here.

This year's NHL draft is taking place at the Bell Centre in Montreal. The 2020 and 2021 drafts were held in the Secaucus location of the NHL studios due to the pandemic.
