Jersey Mike's expanding Wall HQ, complete with fake store for training

WALL - Now a sub sandwich chain with more than 2,200 locations nationwide, Jersey Mike's has outgrown its corporate headquarters on Landmark Place.

Not for too much longer. The Wall Township Planning Board recently approved an expansion that includes a new office building and upgrades to its existing warehouse building.

According to the Planning Board's resolution, the company got the OK to:

  • Demolish a one-story 6,000-square-foot front office building.

  • Build a two-story 13,083-square-foot building for Jersey Mike's corporate offices.

  • Construct a new façade for an existing warehouse and use a part of it for a new training center for franchisees. The training center, which along with offices would encompass 20,219 square feet of the warehouse, will resemble a fully functional Jersey Mike's store but would not have public use.

The property will have a "campus concept" and will include sidewalk interconnections, expanded parking and new lighting and landscaping, among other improvements.
