New Jersey pinball museum offers retro thrills
STORY: Location: Asbury Park, New Jersey
This retro arcade is home to 150 pinball machines
giving fans the opportunity to relive their childhoods
Some of the machines date back to the 1950s

"Growing up as a kid, me and my old man, he used to love all kinds of old stuff, and this is just something that reminds me of him. He's not around anymore so I come here and I play and it brings back memories from the past. We used to play arcade games over in Seaside. It's just the way I like it."

"It's like a treat for the senses."
"It's physical. You can touch it, it feels very different than a video game. You can really experience it."
The pinball museum opened in 2009
It was founded by Robert Ilvento and Steve Zuckerman

"Silverball started when one of the two partner's daughter has autism and she really loved the game, so he (Robert Ilvento) started to collect them and build a collection and then a work colleague, he (Steve Zuckerman) also had a collection and they put it together to see if the public could enjoy it, and the public enjoyed it."
"It's almost like a record, how actual vinyl comes back and then you realize you love that crisp sound. It's the same as we kept that alive here with the games and it's something different or it's something from back in time that you remember doing when you were young."
