All New Jersey Police Officers Now Required To Be Outfitted With Body Cameras

Gov. Phil Murphy was in Camden on Tuesday.

- New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy was in Camden today to mark the implementation of a new policy. It requires all uniformed police officers in the state to be outfitted with body cameras.

PHIL MURPHY: Everybody on all sides of this see this as a positive step toward deepening relationships. It's good for law enforcement, it's good for the communities they serve and it's great for New Jersey.

- The Camden County Police Department was the first agency in the region to have body cameras in 2016 for every officer.
