“Buckhead Shore” has hit all of the actual shores across the country.

The long-awaited “Jersey Shore” spinoff premiered its first two episodes on MTV on Thursday night.

The cable network says the show will “follow the interpersonal lives of a group of friends making a name for themselves in the ‘Beverly Hills of the South’ as they escape their everyday life and head to the lake shore to let loose.”

The cast features Juju Barney, the son of the owner of one of Atlanta’s most popular strip clubs, Magic City, and “head buck” Parker Lipman whose family owns the Athens-based fast food chain Zaxby’s, according to MTV.

Barney and Lipman are joined by seven of their closest friends, which might include an ex or two, for a summer on the lake.

When the show was announced earlier this year, many people in metro Atlanta had one question. Where exactly is this so-called Buckhead Shore?

Some speculated the “shore” was actually Lake Lanier.

Star Lipman seemed to put that question to rest earlier this month when he tweeted that the show was filmed on north Georgia’s Lake Burton.

Lake Burton is located about 100 miles northeast of Buckhead near Georgia’s borders with North and South Carolina.

The group clarifies during the show that they all live in Buckhead, even though the titular shore isn’t located there.

The latest reality show in the “Shore” franchise is a spinoff of “Jersey Shore” which premiered in 2009 and quickly became a fan favorite across the country. After “Jersey Shore” ended in 2012, the franchise expanded to include “Floribama Shore” in 2017.

“Buckhead Shore” airs Thursday nights on MTV.
