Trash Cans Washed Down Street as Rain Hits South Jersey

A powerful thunderstorm carrying wind, rain, lightning, and hail blew through the tri-state area on Thursday afternoon, July 21, footage shows.

New York and New Jersey were warned as storms approached packing wind speeds of up to 60 mph and the potential for quarter-size hail.

Jim Sweeney said he filmed this footage in Cherry Hill, east of Philadelphia, on Thursday afternoon showing garbage cans floating along a flooded New Jersey road.
