Jerusalem zoo animals get lonely in lockdown

Lockdown is a lonely time for animals

at Jerusalem's Biblical Zoo

Zookeepers say the animals miss human visitors

after doors were closed to the public

(SOUNDBITE) JERUSALEM BIBLICAL ZOO'S ZOOLOGICAL DIRECTOR AND HEAD VETERINARIAN, NILI AVNI-MAGEN, SAYING:"We do see a change in the behavior when there are visitors and where we don't have the visitors. For example, you came here -- the zoo is closed but you are a group -- and we see that they are back to the upper area of the exhibit, they move out from the house and they come back to interact with visitors. I'm happy to see it."

For now, they're making do with their keepers
