It’s a good day when news lands that Hollywood actress Jessica Alba is launching a hair product line. After all, this is one woman that has an amaze ‘do. Never a strand out of place. We’re talking seriously good LA locks.

The 34-year-old may be known for her roles on the big screen, but in the past few years the star has turned her back on Hollywood and thrown herself into a new venture - attempting to make the world a safer place with her healthy lifestyle brand The Honest Company.

She’s launched everything from adorable nappies to 100 per cent organic tampons and now she’s turning her hand to something a little more, well, lust-worthy: A beachy hair care range that we can’t wait to get our hands on.

Honest Beauty will soon be launching everything from sea-salt spray to conditioning milk, hair oil and root lift, presumably sitting alongside the brand’s existing shampoo, conditioner and conditioning spray.

And each product will help us achieve Alba’s dreamy mane. Bring. It. On.

“I do the sea-salt spray at the root, and I use conditioning milk at the ends. Then I scrunch,” the actress told Allure. “Right before it’s completely dry, I’ll mist with the oil. It’s awesome. We have a hair oil that’s like a mist,” she said.

The mum-of-two road-tested the products at the Dior show at Paris Fashion Week and the Vanity Fair Oscar party - and we think you’ll agree she was sporting one phenomenal ‘do on both occasions.

“The hairdresser used our root lift and all the other products, and it held the whole time,” she explained. “They really work, they really hold, and they smell amazing.”

Apparently they even smell great, too. Just like most of the other products sold by The Honest Company, the hair products are made with fragrances inspired by the actress’ favourite holiday spots and nostalgic scents from her childhood.

We can hardly wait.
