Jessica Alba Sells Spanish-Style Beverly Hills Home in Less Than a Month

The actress fetched $6.195 million for the impressive five-bedroom house

Jessica Alba effortlessly sold off a Spanish-style Beverly Hills home she’s owned for more than a decade less than three weeks after putting it on the market. The actress and entrepreneur, who will next star opposite Gabrielle Union in L.A.’s Finest, purchased the home for $4.05 million through a trust, and has now offloaded it for $6.195 million. (Fun fact: The Los Angeles Times reports that her father, Mark Alba of Alba Realty, helped to sell the home along with Jade Mills of Caldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.)

The two-story home was originally built in 2007 and spans 5,364 square feet. Located on about half an acre behind large security gates, the Spanish-style abode features five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, including a separate self-contained guesthouse with two bedrooms and a kitchenette. The spacious tiled front entryway of the home opens onto a formal living room boasting rustic distressed wood floors. Sets of French doors open out onto a backyard patio. The formal dining room offers up loads of natural light, and also features a set of glass doors that open completely onto the patio (which has its own impressive outdoor kitchen, perfect for entertaining). The indoor kitchen, meanwhile, boasts a unique setup with all-white cabinetry, high-end appliances, and walls partially covered in more distressed wood planks.

On the second floor, the master suite offers up a kind of quiet stillness, with an impressive wall of trees just outside the window. An intricately patterned black-and-white tile fireplace anchors the room, and acts as a cozy central feature of the sitting room portion of the suite. The master suite also includes two walk-in closets, an impressive bathroom, and a private balcony. Out back, the lush backyard is largely centered around a lagoon-style swimming pool with a waterfall feature, accented on all sides by a smattering of palm trees. A covered cabana dining area is ideal for warm-weather dinner parties, with views of both the pool and a separate sitting area beyond that. A pizza oven and an outdoor kitchen round out the outdoor offerings of the home.

In addition to her recently sold abode, the Honest Company founder still owns three other pieces of property in the Beverly Hills area: a $10 million mansion she snapped up in 2017, a 13-acre parcel of land, and a rental home that she leases out for $11,000 a month.
