Jessica Mulroney Just Gave Her First Interview Since The Royal Wedding

Jessica Mulroney has opened up about why she will never speak about her best friend, the Duchess of Sussex, in interviews.

The Canadian stylist – who is known to be one of Meghan's closest friends and took a starring role in the royal wedding last May – told Harper's Bazaar US that she will always keep certain things private.

'This is the first interview I've done since the wedding or anything,' she said. 'Listen, every person has to have a bit of privacy in their life. There are certain things I hold very dear and secret. There are things I'll never talk about for sure. My life is an open book, but there's always a few secret pages in the back that nobody will be able to read.'

Mulroney has been close with Meghan for years and was recently seen at the royal's baby shower in New York City, which was met with a press frenzy and plenty of negative tabloid attention. The stylist commented on this invasive nature of journalism, particularly on an article that ran in the Daily Mail claiming that the stylist's new role with Good Morning America was in jeopardy if Mulroney wasn't willing to speak about Meghan on air.

'It’s not journalism,' she said. 'There’s no truth to it. [If] they decide they want to ruin somebody, they just will. It comes with the territory. There are so many benefits to certain things, but then also a lot of negativity that you have to deal with at the same time. You have to stay positive.'
