The fashion mogul and her retired NFL player husband Eric Johnson welcomed daughter Birdie in March after what appeared to be a tough pregnancy.

Simpson revealed that she was expecting a sibling for daughter Maxwell Drew, 7, and son Ace Knute, 6, in September. Throughout her pregnancy, she shared some of the challenges that she experienced carrying Birdie, including insomnia, sciatica and, yes, swollen ankles on social media.

Simpson’s toned legs, which she famously displayed in short denim shorts while portraying Daisy Duke in 2005’s The Dukes of Hazzard, are one of her trademarks; you know, that and having a crazy successful fashion empire.

She also loves high heels, so must be delighted to be able to wear them again.

Several recognizable names applauded Simpson’s svelte ankles. Celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, who’s long worked with the “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’” singer, said he was “soooooo proud!!!!”

“They’re back!!!!” proclaimed The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards. Singer Jessie James Decker called Simpson “HOT,” which she underscored with four fire emojis.

Comedian Chelsea Handler quipped, “And some other good business...”

Even Katie Couric piped up with a “YAY!!!!!”

Another commenter wrote that she had mixed feelings about Simpson’s photo, because she doesn’t want Simpson or other woman to feel obligated to get back to their pre-pregnancy weights too quickly. “One thing I have always loved about you is that you’re a real person with motherhood, you gained a lot of weight like most of us do! And you are honest about how hard getting it back is,” the person wrote. “Being a businesswoman, a wife, friend, and mother of 3 is SO much. Just be gentle with yourself and don’t feel societal pressure to have flat abs 30 seconds after delivering. You grew a human for the third time, give yourself a break.”
