Jet suit pilots compete in first-ever race

"So we are here in Dubai delivering the inaugural Jet Suit Race series. This is going to consist of bringing together a bunch of guys and gals, including UAE pilots, who are going to push the limits of human and machine technology using our 1500 horsepower jet suits flying around an obstacle course over water to really deliver a spectacle that is more akin to a Marvel superhero film than it is anything seen before."

First launched in 2017, the suits can now
operate at speeds above 80 miles per hour
