Jets unsure if Zach Wilson will land on injured reserve

It’s too early to tell if the Jets will place Zach Wilson on injured reserve.

Robert Saleh said Monday that the Jets will make that decision this week as they determine the severity of Wilson’s PCL sprain. Wilson suffered the injury in Sunday’s loss to the Patriots and is expected to miss 2-4 weeks.

Placing Wilson on injured reserve would sideline the rookie for three weeks.

The Jets play the Bengals this weekend before a Thursday night game with the Colts on Nov. 4. That mid-week matchup gives the Jets — and Wilson — a little extra time before facing the Bills in Week 10. New York plays Miami in Week 11.

Mike White, who made his NFL debut Sunday, is expected to start in Wilson’s absence.
