Jim Gaffigan can fly, he can fly, he can fly.

The stand-up comic will be playing Mr. Smee in “Peter Pan & Wendy,” Disney’s live-action adaptation of its 1953 animated take on J.M. Barrie’s boy who never grows up, The Wrap reported.

In Disney’s original “Peter Pan,” Mr. Smee is the short, bumbling henchman of Peter’s arch-nemesis Captain Hook, who will be played by Jude Law.

David Lowery, who directed the studio’s 2016 adaptation of its 1977 film “Pete’s Dragon,” will be directing the film.

Alexander Molony will star as the titular Peter in his film debut while Wendy will be played by Ever Anderson, whose famous folks are Milla Jovovich and Paul W.S. Anderson.

The 13-year-old is already working with the House of Mouse on “Black Widow,” which has been perpetually delayed thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.

“Black-ish” and “Grown-ish” star Yara Shahidi will star as the fairy Tinker Bell while Tiger Lily will be played by newcomer Alyssa Wapanat 1/4 u00e2hk.

The tale of “Peter Pan” was most recently adapted for film in last year’s “Wendy,” a reimagining of the story from “Beasts of the Southern Wild” director Benh Zeitlin.

Before that, “Atonement” director Joe Wright tried his hand at the prequel with 2015 1/4 u2032s “Pan,” which starred Hugh Jackman and Rooney Mara.

Both “Wendy” and “Pan,” like 1991 1/4 u2032s “Hook” — starring Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman — were largely poorly received.

P.J. Hogan’s 2003 “Peter Pan” earned a much better critical reception.
