Jimmy Butler hosted an Easter egg hunt for 76ers employees and gave out expensive prizes
Philadelphia 76ers guard Jimmy Butler is giving back to the people behind the scenes. Butler hosted an Easter egg hunt for 76ers employees Wednesday, and made sure people who found his eggs walked away happy.
The 29-year-old Butler gave away Apple Watches, televisions and a whole bunch of other prizes for those lucky enough to find an egg.

Butler posted a number of clips from the event — which he MC’d — on his Instagram story. In those videos, Butler explains he’s hosting the event because “sometimes it’s about the people you don’t see.” In later videos, Butler is running the event and asking employees who found numbered eggs to choose their prizes.
Butler held the event while the 76ers are in the midst of a playoff run. The team dispatched the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday, and will take on the Toronto Raptors in the conference semifinals on Saturday.
If Butler went to this level for an Easter egg hunt, imagine the party gifts he’ll hand out if the 76ers win it all.
