Jimmy O. Yang, Chloe Bennet, Lisa Lu to star in animated film ‘Rally Road Racers’

Viva Kids has secured the rights to distribute the animated family film “Rally Road Racers,” starring Jimmy O. Yang, throughout North America.
“Rally Road Racers” tells the story of a slow-moving mammal who enters a race to save his grandmother's home from demolition. The film, formerly known as “Silk Road Rally,” is set to hit theaters on May 12. The movie's voice cast also includes Chloe Bennet, Lisa Lu and J.K. Simmons.
“Rally Road Racers is a fast-paced, star-studded, commercial movie that will surely entertain audiences both young and old," Mayank Jhalani, Viva Kids’ theatrical distribution manager, said in a statement.
Yang and Bennet are also slated to star in the anticipated Hulu series “Interior Chinatown,” based on the novel of the same name by Charles Yu. Joining them are Lauren Tom, Ronny Chieng, Tzi Ma, Archie Kao and Diana Lin, among others.

On Monday, Yang also announced a second stand-up comedy special with Amazon Prime Video, titled “Guess How Much?”
