Jimtown dominates second half to beat Clay

Jan. 7—ELKHART — The Jimtown Jimmies dizzied South Bend Clay with the half-court trapping defense they unleashed in the third quarter, and dizzied their coach with how much better they played yet again during a second half.

With Bishop Williams, Taysire Williams, Braxten Rice and Beau Barhams each posting huge post-intermission numbers, the Jims sprung from an 11-point third-period hole to win going away, 64-50, over the Colonials in boys high school basketball Thursday night at Jimtown's Jerry Cook Court.
