Joanna Gaines Will Air A Cooking Special This Weekend That Was Filmed By Her Kids
With five kids at home, Joanna Gaines has a lot of helping hands, especially when it comes to creating some delicious treats in the kitchen. In that spirit, Joanna is releasing a one-hour TV special on the Food Network this Sunday that features some videos shot by her kids.
“Well, this is going to be fun! The ‘cooking show’ videos that the kids filmed will be airing in a one-hour special on @foodnetwork this Sunday at 12p/11a CT!” Joanna announced on Instagram this week.
She also shared that during the special she’ll reveal a sneak peek of her actual cooking show that will eventually premiere in the fall.

In the Instagram video, Joanna gives us a taste of the special as she runs through her menu and, wow, it sounds SO good: “The meal today is just going to be some appetizers, a wonderful Dutch oven lasagna, homemade garlic knots, a beautiful layered salad, and then a French silk pie,” Joanna can be heard saying over footage of herself cooking. Ugh, we're already hungry.
According to PEOPLE, Joanna also plans to walk viewers through how to make her go-to family favorite recipes, including zucchini bread, chili, chocolate chip cookies, and spinach tortellini soup.
In case you missed it, Joanna and her husband, fellow former Fixer Upper costar Chip Gaines, are planning to launch their own TV network (called Magnolia Network) in October. And yup, it’ll include Joanna’s cooking show. Is it Sunday yet?
