CHICAGO, Ill. (WFRV) – Former Packers defensive coordinator Joe Barry reportedly has an interview coming up with Green Bay’s rival, the Chicago Bears.

As reported by NFL Network’s Jane Slater and The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, Barry had an interview on Friday with the Philadelphia Eagles for the team’s linebackers coach position and is expected to meet with the Bears on Saturday about a position on their defensive staff. What position was not made immediately clear.

The Bears are working toward reconfiguring their coaching staff, and a defensive coordinator job is believed to be available.

Packers fans were critical of Barry throughout the year, but he did help beat the Cowboys in the Super Wild Card round.
