Joe Burrow, Tom Brady could meet for first time in Bengals-Bucs game Dec. 18 in Tampa

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton (14) and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (12) shake hands after the fourth quarter of the NFL Week 15 game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the New England Patriots at Paul Brown Stadium in downtown Cincinnati on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019. The Bengals continued on their path to the No. 1 draft pick with a 34-13 loss to the Patriots.

The Cincinnati Bengals' Week 15 game against the Buccaneers in Tampa on Dec. 18 could feature the first - and potentially only - meeting between Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and Bucs quarterback Tom Brady.

Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. Eastern on CBS.

In February, Burrow appeared on the "Let's Go!" podcast Brady co-hosts with Jim Gray and Larry Fitzgerald on SiriusXM, and Brady offered the Bengals' QB praise for leading Cincinnati to the Super Bowl in addition to advice.

Brady is 7-1 in the eight career games in which he's played against the Bengals, but he hasn't faced Cincinnati since 2019 - when he was still with the New England Patriots.

Alex Cappa, the Bucs' starting right guard the past three seasons, signed as a free agent with the Bengals in March.

The Bengals announced earlier - in advance of Thursday night's 2022 NFL schedule release - that they'll open the season against the Steelers for the first time. Cincinnati is scheduled to play a pair of Sunday Night Football games, including their second meeting of the season with Pittsburgh.

The Bengals' Week 4 meeting with the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football could feature the first-ever NFL regular-season meeting between Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa, the top two quarterbacks selected in the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Bengals are scheduled to play two Monday Night Football games this season on ESPN/ABC, against the Browns in Cleveland in Week 8 on Oct. 31 and against the Buffalo Bills at Paul Brown Stadium in Week 17 on Jan. 2, 2023.

Among the most anticipated non-primetime road games on the Bengals' schedule has former LSU Tigers Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase facing the Saints at New Orleans' Superdome, where they won a College Football Playoff National Championship.

The Bengals' preseason schedule includes a Super Bowl rematch with the Los Angeles Rams.
