It’s no joke: Joe Gatto is leaving “Impractical Jokers.”

Gatto blames “some issues in my personal life” for his splitting with the show he’s hosted for 10 years — and the woman he married in 2013.

The 45-year-old funnyman made his announcement in an Instagram post that he acknowledged was “long and more serious” that what he usually writes online.

“Alongside my friends, I’ve devoted a decade of my life to building this franchise and couldn’t be prouder of what has been accomplished,” Gatto said. “However, due to some issues in my personal life, I have to step away.”

According to Gatto, he now wants to focus on co-parenting the son and daughter he shares with his wife Bessy. He called his ties to his “Impractical Jokers” colleagues second only to the relationships he shares with his family members and expressed confidence that those jokers would continue the work they started together on TruTV.

“I know they will continue to make the world laugh,” he said.

Gatto said last year that his six dogs, which he wrote a book about, were helping him get through the pandemic at his Long Island home. Several of those dogs have appeared on “Impractical Jokers.”

He had eight dogs while writing “The Dogfather: My Love of Dogs, Desserts and Growing Up Italian,” but two have since died.
