Joel Dublanko, former UC Bearcats linebacker, signs with Seattle Seahawks
Former Cincinnati Bearcats linebacker Joel Dublanko, an undrafted rookie, signed with the Seattle Seahawks after a successful workout, the team announced Friday.
Tight end Jake Hausmann, a former Moeller High School standout, was waived to make room on Seattle's 90-man roster.
Dublanko, who played the past five seasons for the Bearcats and led the team in tackles with 113 in his final season at UC, signed a free-agent deal with the New Orleans Saints in April, but was waived in May.

The Seahawks selected Dublanko's UC teammate, defensive back Coby Bryant, in the fourth round of the 2022 draft.
A two-year starter and team captain at UC, Dublanko played in the Cotton Bowl and College Football Playoff as a sixth-year senior. He had three sacks in the American Athletic Conference Championship game and was named first-team all-AAC.
