John Estrada doesn't meddle in daughter's relationship

29 May – John Estrada has nothing much to say when it comes to daughter Inah de Belen's relationship with fellow GMA-7 star, Jake Vargas.

As reported on Inquirer, the actor, who admitted that he hasn't been introduced to the actor despite them already been in a relationship for a couple of years, said that there is nothing he should say or do if she is happy with Vargas.

"I told her that you're the one [who is dating him], not me. If you think he's already the perfect guy for you, the guy you'd want to eventually end up with, there is nothing that I can do," he said.

Estrada stated that the only thing he can do as a father is to give her some advice and help her in a way that won't lead to heartbreak.

"I don't think any parent would wish his or her daughter to get hurt," he said.

Inah de Belen is Estrada's daughter with actress Janice de Belen. The actor is currently married to Brazilian model Priscilla Meirelles.
