John Legend and more are playing this Sacramento-area venue in 2024. How to get tickets

Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln has added new concerts to its 2024 lineup, including R&B star John Legend.

According to a news release, the casino resort has added three new shows to its entertainment stage, called The Venue.

Sublime with Rome with The Expendables is performing on May 31 and the resort will host a V101 Freestyle Throwback Fest featuring artists Stevie B, The Sugarhill Gang, Trinere and more on July 6.

John Legend will be at The Venue on Aug. 16.

“We are thrilled to welcome the extraordinary John Legend to The Venue,” Dawn Clayton, general manager of Thunder Valley Casino Resort, said in the release. “Our commitment to delivering the very best in entertainment remains unwavering, and with each addition to our 2024 lineup, we continue to raise the bar, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all who visit The Venue at Thunder Valley.”

Thunder Valley Casino Resort is located at 1200 Athens Ave. in Lincoln.

When do tickets go on sale for the new shows?

Concert tickets go on sale for the general public on Friday. You can snag them online or in person at the casino’s box office.

Thunder Rewards Members will get early access to tickets at 10 a.m. Thursday at the on-site box office.

Who else is playing at The Venue?

The Venue has a packed schedule of shows for 2024, including performances by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Theresa Caputo and Jason Mraz.

Standup comedians John Mulaney, Ali Wong and Jerry Seinfeld are also performing.
