John Legend Shared The Cutest Family Photos In A Mother's Day Tribute To Chrissy Teigen

If there's one thing Chrissy Teigen and John Legend know how to do, it's tug at their fans' heartstrings. The pair is wonderfully and unflinchingly open about their relationship and their lives, and John alluded to the pain and post-pregnancy loss heartbreak they've been through over the past year in a Mother's Day tribute to Chrissy.

On his Instagram account on Sunday—which was Mother's Day—the singer wrote about just how much his wife means to him. He also shared a slideshow of five photos showcasing their beautiful family with a sweet caption that began: "Happy Mother’s Day to my wonderful wife! It’s been a year that tested you in so many ways but you’ve come through stronger, wiser, happier and a better mother than ever."

He went on to call Chrissy his inspiration and best friend and explained how fortunate he felt to have her as his partner before wrapping up the message with the four most beautiful words: "I love you forever."

Chrissy fans chimed in with their own messages for their fave celeb on the special day. Others, however, commented on their "beautiful family" and how kind they both are. If you ask me, both of these sentiments are totally accurate.

Though not much has been shared about exactly how Chrissy spent her day, I can only imagine that it was filled with love, laughter and—of course—food. Hopefully we'll hear a funny story about how Mother's Day went for her soon!
