John Legend Struggles to Help Wife Chrissy Teigen Untangle Her Ponytail
John Legend has conquered Broadway, movies, music and television, but there’s still one thing the 40-year-old EGOT-winner struggles with — untangling a messy ponytail.
Chrissy Teigen shared a series of sweet videos on Instagram stories showing Legend attempting to unravel her hair tie from her pony.
“This is very difficult,” Legend says while delicately untangling the elastic.
Teigen responds with “I love you,” to which Legends says “I love you too” and continues to work on unwrapping her hairstyle.
In the next video, he sprays Ouai hair product directly into her roots and still struggles to gently remove the elastic, as evident by Teigen loudly yelling “Ouch.”
This isn’t the first time Legend has helped out his wife in the beauty or fashion department. Last year when Teigen was pregnant with their son Miles Theodore, now 7 months, Legend helped her squeeze a pair of black spandex leggings over her baby bump in a cute social media video.

He also hilariously stepped-in as her fashion stylist after the 2017 Grammy Awards when Teigen was too exhausted to remove her jewels herself.
She filmed the situation in a Snapchat video saying, “I’m on the floor and John’s in charge of taking my jewelry off for [stylist Monica Rose]. Take it off, John.”
“Okay, he’s taking it off … Ow!” she narrated, asking Legend in another clip, “Are you mad at me?”
“Why would I be mad at you? … You’re perfect,” he replied sweetly.
”’Cause I got drunk,” Teigen retorted.
Nothing is ever too personal when it comes to Teigen and sharing on social media. After her recent tropical vacation with her family, she took to Twitter to tell fans she got an unfortunate rash — on her butt.
“I have hives on my butt. Do you want to see it? It’s gross,” she tweeted alongside a poll that, as of Tuesday morning, had the majority of voters opting “Yes” and the latter choosing, “No please god.”
“Okay enough people do not want to see my butt so I will spare you butt hives. What about my thigh hives? Very similar and includes fun stretchies,” Teigen wrote in a follow-up poll that had a greater percentage of yes votes — so naturally, she obliged.
