John Mayer bringing ‘Solo’ acoustic tour to Boston
For the first time ever, John Mayer is bring his first ‘Solo’ acoustic tour to Boston.
“Just like the early days. I’ll be playing old songs. Newer songs. Songs you haven’t heard yet that I’ll be road testing - all on acoustic, electric, and piano. Hope to see you there,” Mayer wrote on his Twitter.

Mayer’s ‘Solo’ tour is making 18 stops across North American, including TD Garden on March 13.
The solo tour marks the first time in Mayer’s career that he will hit the road by himself, without a band.
Each performance will feature full acoustic sets from Mayer, as well as performances on electric guitar and piano.
Mayer will be joined by singer-songwriter Lizzy McApline in Boston
Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. on February 3 on his website.
Mayer will also be playing with Dead & Company in Boston on June 24 & 25.
