Rock star and acclaimed blues guitarist John Mayer on Monday announced that he's added a show in Austin to his current solo acoustic tour. He'll play Moody Center on Nov. 1.
If that sounds familiar, it's because it is. Mayer played the first ticketed concerts at the newly opened University of Texas arena in April 2022. The first night of a two-night stand on his "Sob Rock" tour earned positive marks from the American-Statesman's music team.
Tickets for the new November date go on sale at 9 a.m. on Friday via johnmayer.com.

"The 2023 tour has been 20 years in the making and will feature rare, full acoustic sets from John Mayer performing" his hits and more songs, according to a Live Nation news release. Singer-songwriter JP Saxe will open up the show.
