John Paul Jones Is Moving to L.A. to Become an Aspiring Actor and I Couldn’t Be More Excited About It
John Paul Jones shared that he’s moving to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
He’s also moving there to be closer to his girlfriend, fellow Bachelor in Paradise alum Tayshia Adams.
As anyone who has been paying attention will know, Bachelor alums have been moving up in the (celebrity) world: Wells Adams got engaged to Sarah Hyland, Tyler Cameron dated Gigi Hadid, and Mike Johnson was linked to Demi Lovato. And now the one and only John Paul Jones has his own plans to surpass reality TV stardom: become a movie star himself, obviously.
In a new interview with Us, JPJ shares that he’s now an aspiring actor—and he’s even moving to L.A.! John Paul Jones was previously living in Maryland as a finance analyst, and the move also allows him to be closer to his girlfriend, Tayshia Adams, who he is definitely still dating. JPJ opened up about the move, sharing:
“A few opportunities came up that were really just too hard to pass up and it just made sense to move. Tayshia is only an hour and a half away, so that was a big draw, and to my surprise, a talent agent reached out to me and they’ve been consistently getting me auditions and I’m waiting to hear back [on projects]. I honestly never could’ve expected this entire occurrence, it’s completely crazy. I’ll never be able to do this again so it just seemed like the right move.
“It was really difficult [being long-distance]. I had a full-time job working 50 hours a week and it was tough to go out for three days. I would come out here and have one day with her and have to fly back. Really, I am killing two birds with one stone.”
I honestly love this for him. Keeping my fingers crossed he makes it back on TV, ’cause if he gives us more moments like this, I will CERTAINLY tune in:
