Johnny Knoxville has filed for divorce from his second wife, Naomi Nelson, after nearly 12 years of marriage.

The 51-year-old co-creator of the MTV stunt show “Jackass” cited irreconcilable differences when filing for divorce in Los Angeles on Tuesday, according to documents obtained by People.

Some media outlets have reported that Knoxville, real name Philip John Clapp, filed the documents on Thursday.

The soon-to-be-former couple, who share two kids together — a 12-year-old son named Rocko and a 10-year-old daughter named Arlo — tied the knot in Los Angeles on Sept. 24, 2010.

According to divorce documents, Knoxville and Nelson separated exactly 11 years from date of their wedding anniversary.

He is asking for joint legal and joint physical custody of the children.

Knoxville’s latest movie, “Jackass Forever,” premiered in February to positive reviews and an impressive box office, grossing more than $80 million worldwide.

Nelson, a film director and TV producer, is Knoxville’s second wife. He was married to fashion designer Melanie Lynn Cates from 1995 to 2008.
