Johnny Pamcakes opened its first restaurant in 2008 after owners John and Pam Lack purchased the former Fairview Family Restaurant at 3700 E. State St., Rockford. They opened inside Kegel Harley Davidson in 2015.

"We've really grown so much there," Pam Lock said in a video that accompanies the Facebook post. "We actually outgrew the Harley location."

According to public records, the Lacks purchased the former Fire Box Restaurant building for $370,000.
