Looking to add a furry friend to your family and make a positive impact on the world at the same time? Adopt a dog, cat or other animal from a local shelter or organization! During the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, many local animals are still looking for their forever homes and facilities still working to fulfill adoptions and place pets with families.
There are thousands of dogs, cats and other animals of all ages, sizes and breeds without a home throughout Georgia — and many are located within driving distance. In the search for a new family pet, consider beginning at a local adoption center like Mush Rescue Inc, where Howie the dog is waiting patiently.
