Johns Hopkins studying so-called long COVID-19, symptoms

The COVID-19 delta variant is believed to be fueling an increase in new cases in Maryland. Public health experts are stepping up their push for people to get vaccinated, and in some parts of Maryland, vaccination rates are lagging behind. Maryland has seen a steady rise in the rate of new COVID-19 cases over the past two weeks. Daily numbers remain much lower than levels seen over the winter, but the rise is enough to send the positivity rate back over 1%.
