Johnson City's Fiero named MVP of All-District 28-2A Softball Team
Johnson City's Kori Fiero was named the MVP of the All-District 28-2A Softball Team after leading the Lady Eagles to the district title.
Harper's Brittany Evans was the Offensive Player of the Year, while Goldthwaite's Reagan Switzer was the Defensive Player of the Year.
Center Point's Kaylee Blackledge was named the Pitcher of the Year.
Harper had the Utility Player of the Year, Justice Garcia, and shared co-Newcomer of the Year honors between Kinsey Key and Johnson City's Jackie Earley.
Mason, the district's runner-up, didn't garner any superlative honors, but the Cowgirls had four first-team selections — Tristin Keller, Kamryn Loeffler, Tori Perlichek and Tara Bolley.
