Olathe’s first Whataburger opened Monday at 14123 W. 135th St.

The fast-food restaurant is co-owned by Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, whose KMO Burger has spots across the metro, with more to come.

The franchisee’s other Johnson County locations are at 11300 Nall Ave. and 7791 W. 159th St. in Overland Park.

Recently, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback’s company opened a Whataburger in Liberty at Highway 152 and Booth Avenue. Coming soon: 9008 N.W. 64th St. in Parkville, 12416 S. U.S. 71 Highway in Grandview and 4200 Sterling Ave. near Independence.

The Texas-based chain (the same state the Super Bowl champion hails from) sells hamburgers, shakes, BLTs, breakfast sandwiches and more.

While the Olathe Whataburger’s drive-thru will be open 24 hours, its dining room hours are 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, and 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
