New choir members welcome

Bloomington Peace Choir is a community of people who love to sing. There are no auditions. Everyone of any skill level is welcome. The choir meets every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. to rehearse at Bell Trace Senior Living Center. The Peace Choir does have a $40 member fee for the semester, but the first two weeks are free to see if you like it. Additionally, they offer partial or working scholarships, just ask their membership coordinator about this opportunity. Singers under the age of 18 are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Bloomington Peace Choir regularly performs at peace vigils, the Farmers' Market, 4th Street Arts Festival, Christmas Canopy of Lights, retirement homes and other nonreligious events. Volunteers/groups needed for cleaning and beautification

Volunteers 18 years and older are needed to help with basic cleaning and beautification of the two housing complexes supported by Beacon Inc. — Crawford Homes Program. Tasks may include general cleaning, touchup painting and yard work. Individuals or groups are welcome. Crawford Homes is a program of Beacon Inc. that offers permanent housing with supportive services to individuals and families who experience chronic homelessness and disabilities. Autism nonprofit looking for volunteers

Autism Rocks and Rolls is looking for help preparing for their upcoming gala. Volunteers are needed to assist with collecting contact information for Indiana University frats, sororities, and sports teams that might need philanthropical hours. Help is also needed to support getting the volunteer program set up for the event. Autism Rocks and Rolls wants to serve as a resource to anybody connected to autism, whether that be a parent, an individual on the spectrum, an educator, or someone that simply wants to learn more. They want to show the positive side of autism to the world and tap into abilities rather than pointing out what people cannot do.
