Jonah Hill Buys $9 Million Malibu Home

Jonah Hill is gearing up for summer in a major way. Instead of simply ordering patio furniture and planning outdoor getaways like the rest of us, the actor stepped things up and invested in a new Malibu beach home. According to Dirt, Hill paid $9 million for a contemporary abode in Malibu Colony, a star-studded seaside community filled by the likes of Tom Hanks, Bette Midler, and many more.

While the Moneyball star’s spot was originally built in 1980, he purchased the four-bedroom fully renovated. The strikingly white exterior is reminiscent of bleached Greek architecture that reflects the sun and allows spaces to be heat-resistant. All Hill is missing is a blue door. There is, however, an attached garage with a wooden door and a stone courtyard that leads to the entrance.

Inside, the cool white paint continues via an open floor plan that combines the kitchen, dining, and living room all in one area. In addition to the crisp color brightening the place up, there’s no getting over how extra high the ceilings are and how much natural light the glass French doors bring in. To contrast the white, there are black cabinets alongside designer appliances taking over the kitchen.

From there, this house just keeps getting better. The main bedroom features a sauna and steam room combo, and out back there’s a lagoon-style pool with an outdoor spa. On top of it all is a third-level rooftop deck with calming views of the ocean.

Last, but certainly not least, Hill’s home also comes with beach access rights and a golf cart for easy, breezy transportation. Maybe Hill could even use it to zip to his nearby Santa Monica mansion that he purchased for $6.7 million in 2019.
