During her day off from work, lottery officials said the lucky winner stopped by the gas station to use the restroom and bought a random lottery ticket that caught her eye. Moments later she would realize that she had won the top prize.

“When I hit that—y’all don’t even want to know my first thought,” she laughed.

The Jonesboro native said she is planning to pay off her truck, land and other expenses with her money. She said she will also buy a headstone for her son.

Though she is a million dollars richer, the winner said she will keep playing the lottery and won’t quit her job.

“I’m not old enough to retire,” she said.
