They’re needed for the new employees added in recent months – everything from a legal specialist to building inspectors. City hall is also expanding communications staff – including new communications and Marketing Director Drew Douglas who started just this week.
“To invest in in getting our own news out to the public and working with local media and doing everything we can to make sure folks are in the loop with what’s going on in their community, and knowing about programs and services and what’s the update on that project,” said Douglas.
Construction at city hall is expected to wrap up in the next three months.
