Olympic medalist Jordan Chiles impressed judges and attendees at the Pan-American Games 2023. The 22-year-old showed off her technique and skills during the vault competition. Chiles’ vault won her a silver medal and bronze medal for being the all-rounder. She advanced to the uneven bars final and won a gold medal for the overall team.

“shinin’ shinin’ shinin’ shinin’ yeah,….. 💎,” Chiles captioned a picture of herself on Instagram while holding her medals.

The All-Star announced her participation in the Pan-America Games via social media with a catchy caption “Chiles in Chile,” according to EssentiallySports. Chiles represented the United States during the games with her team. After receiving her accolades, Chiles posted three separate posts to honor the experience.

“and that’s a wrap on Jordan’s Pan Am games experience…. forever Chiles in Chile!! — I just want to say thank you to everyone for all the love and support these past few days. I’m ok from bars and ready to get back to work!!,” Chiles wrote in her first post.

The Olympian scored 14.400 after completing a double-twisted Yurchenko effortlessly. She scored an average of 53.999, making her the seventh-place champion. Chiles did not take home gold but her teammate, Layla DiCello, did.

After the games, Chiles came back to UCLA as one of the most celebrated athletes, with international titles including the WCGA West Region Gymnast of the Year and the College Gym News Sportswoman of the Year. Chiles will participate in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
